My stay at Capella Shanghai, Jian Ye Li was truly good. the service was perfect, making me feel at home in a luxurious setting. The unique Shikumen accommodations provided a charming atmosphere that I couldn't get enough of. There was a bit of a mix-up with the bathroom location being on a different floor, but the really good service more than made up for any inconvenience.
My stay at Capella Shanghai, Jian Ye Li was genuinely very nice. The beautiful shikumen architecture provided a unique and cozy atmosphere that perfectly blended luxury and comfort. While I enjoyed the Michelin-starred dining experiences, I did wish the swimming pool was a bit larger and that parking was available for hotel guests.

While the service was really good and the food at Le Comptoir de Pierre Gagnaire was excellent, I did find the pillows to be a bit flat and the room air on the warm side. I recently spent a few nights at Capella Shanghai, Jian Ye Li, and the experience was truly lovely. The cozy yet luxurious atmosphere was complemented by the beautiful shikumen residences and really good staff service. There was only a minor inconvenience with the bathroom being on a different floor from my room, but the overall experience more than made up for it. I can’t wait to return! ✨🌟
